CRP and chronic kidney disease: Inflammatory marker, C-reactive protein (CRP) and coagulation markers including fibrinogen and D-dimer, were measured and CKD stages were determined using estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), which was calculated based on cystatin C (cystC) levels (eGFR<sub>cystC</sub>).<h4>Results</h4>In the overall PLWH cohort, D-dimer was significantly associated with reduced eGFR<sub>cystC</sub> in both crude (<i>p</i> = 0.004) and adjusted analyses (<i>p</i> = 0.014), indicating poorer kidney function.
