CRP and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Multivariable regression models accounting for clustering at household and community levels and adjusted for age, sex, and their interaction were used to examine associations.<h4>Results</h4>Elevated CRP (≥3 mg/L) was prevalent (50.9%) and significantly associated with hypertension (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 1.69, 95% CI: 1.19-2.39), type 2 diabetes (aOR 2.53, 95% CI: 1.77-3.64), and metabolic syndrome (aOR 3.24, 95% CI: 2.30-4.58).
