Univariate analysis revealed that advanced age (<i>p</i> = 0.006), prolonged diagnostic delay (<i>p</i> = 0.009), and higher antibody titers in both serum (<i>p</i> = 0.005) and CSF (<i>p</i> = 0.009) were significantly correlated with poor functional outcomes.<h4>Conclusion</h4>The high frequency of unremarkable results in initial ancillary investigations, such as MRI and routine CSF analysis, often leads to substantial diagnostic and therapeutic delays in anti-LGI1 encephalitis. Here, LGI1 is linked to encephalitis.
