Pleiotropy and heterogeneity were assessed using sensitivity analyses such as MR-Egger, weighted median, and Pleiotropy Residual Sum and Outlier (MR-PRESSO).
Results
Genetically predicted higher levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C; odds ratio (OR) = 0.88; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.82-0.93) and apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1, OR = 0.89; 95% CI, 0.84-0.95) were associated with a reduced risk of migraine. The gene discussed is APOA1; the disease is migraine disorder.
