AFP and neoplasm: Patient survival subgroups post TARE have not been clearly defined.
Aims
1.2.To identify prognostic factors in patients treated with TARE.
Methods
1.3.Non-surgical HCC patients (n=116) were treated with TARE and prospectively followed for survival and changes in blood parameters relating to inflammation and tumor indices.
Results
1.4.Baseline parameters with the highest hazard ratios (HR>2) for survival were C-reactive protein, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), maximum tumor diameter (MTD) and PVT.
