Epidermal growth factor receptor (<i>EGFR</i>) exon 20 insertion (ex20ins) mutations are the third most common <i>EGFR</i> mutation subtype in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), accounting for approximately 4-12% of all <i>EGFR</i>-mutated cases. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
