In multivariate analysis, younger age (<i>p</i>-value: 0.0007), hormone receptor positive (HR+)/HER2- subtype (<i>p</i>-value < 0.0001) and positive family history for breast and ovarian cancer (<i>p</i>-value: 0.0001) were significantly associated with the performance of genetic counseling. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and ovarian carcinoma.
