We evaluated DNA methylation-based inflammation risk scores (DNAm-IRSs), which may capture longer-term immune-inflammatory and exposure-related biology, with lung cancer risk among never smokers.<h4>Methods</h4>We evaluated six DNAm-IRSs, including four CRP-based scores (IRS <sub>Ligthart</sub> , IRS <sub>Wielscher</sub> , IRS <sub>Linear_Hillary</sub> , IRS <sub>Elnet_Hillary</sub> ), in 683 risk-set-sampled case-control pairs nested in the Shanghai Women's Health Study (n=74,941). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is lung cancer.
