Furthermore, they were correlated with disease severity (allelic: OR = 2.76 [1.60-4.75], <i>p</i> = 0.0002; and genotypic: OR = 4.64 [1.83-11.78], <i>p</i> = 0.0003).<h4>Conclusions</h4>These findings support the potential role of the <i>eNOS</i> VNTR 4a/4b polymorphism in both the risk and severity of preeclampsia in the Algerian population. Here, NOS3 is linked to preeclampsia.
