No statistically significant differences were found between sarcopenia and age, albumin, Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Index or C-reactive protein (<i>p</i> > 0.05).<h4>Conclusions</h4>There is a high prevalence of probable sarcopenia, associated with decreased handgrip strength and gait speed in patients with chronic kidney disease in hemodialysis. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and sarcopenia.
