Multiplex immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence was performed to characterize monocytic (M-MDSC, CD11b+CD14+HLA-DRlow/−CD15−) and polymorphonuclear myeloid derived suppressor cells (PMN-MDSC, CD11b+CD14−HLA-DRlow/−CD15+), M1-like (CD68+iNOS+) and M2-like macrophages (CD68+CD206+), B cells (CD20+), T helper cells (CD3+CD4+), and cytotoxic T cells (CD3+CD8+) in the tumor (TC) and stroma compartment (SC) of the primary tumor (PT) and the lymph node metastases (LM). The gene discussed is CD68; the disease is lymphangioma.
