ESR1 and connective tissue disorder: Inflammatory burden was highest in gout and rheumatoid arthritis, intermediate in psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, and lower in connective tissue diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed connective tissue disease, Sjogren's disease, systemic sclerosis, and dermato/polymyositis) and osteoarthritis; CRP distributions were more strongly right-tailed than ESR.
