This suppression resulted in diminished CXCL1/2 expression and a consequent attenuation of the neutrophil-driven pro-tumorigenic microenvironment.<h4>Conclusions</h4>We conclude that TA attenuates colitis-associated carcinogenesis by inhibiting the NOD/NF-κB pathway and its downstream CXCL1/2-CXCR2-mediated neutrophil recruitment. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and colitis.
