Regarding family history, breast cancer was the most common malignancy observed (71% in <i>BRCA1</i> and 74% in <i>BRCA2</i> families), followed by other cases of prostate cancer (42% in <i>BRCA1</i> vs. 34% in <i>BRCA2</i>). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and prostate carcinoma.
