The CIMT ≥ 1.5 mm group exhibited significant increases in BMI, number of smokers, diabetes duration, cumulative advanced glycation end products (AGEs), SBP, diastolic blood pressure (DBP), FPG, 2hPG, HbA1c, GA, TC, LDL-C, serum creatinine (Scr), BUN, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), and NETs levels (<i>P<0.05</i>).
