<h4>Purpose</h4>The purpose of this study was to prospectively evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of baricitinib, a selective Janus kinase (JAK)1/JAK2 inhibitor, in the treatment of patients with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease.<h4>Design</h4>The study was designed as a prospective, open-label, longitudinal, single-center cohort study.<h4>Methods</h4>We enrolled 38 patients (76 eyes) with VKH disease (including both initial-onset and recurrent/chronic cases) at Tongji Hospital, Wuhan, China, between 2022 and 2024. This evidence concerns the gene JAK2 and Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease.
