<b>Background</b>: We evaluated the potential neuroprotective effects of naloxone in moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), focusing on its ability to alleviate neuroinflammation, reduce cognitive impairment, and to influence Janus tyrosine kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling markers.
