Higher TyG-AIP levels were independently associated with an increased risk of stroke (per SD increase: HR = 1.35, 95% CI 1.21-1.51; P < 0.001), with a stronger effect among those with dysglycemia (HR = 1.54, 95% CI 1.21-1.95; P < 0.001). The gene discussed is AIP; the disease is stroke disorder.
