<h4>Purpose</h4>To investigate the follow-up treatment options and prognosis in patient with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring a <i>BRAF</i> V600E mutation who is intolerant to targeted therapy.<h4>Case presentation</h4>A patient with a 30-year smoking history and well-controlled hypertension developed lung adenocarcinoma (left upper lobe; T2aN2MO, Stage IIIA; Karnofsky Performance Status: 90) after radical lung cancer surgery. This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and lung cancer.
