Elevated levels of CRP (<i>p</i> = 0.0038), hs-CRP (<i>p</i> = 0.0048), and IL-6 (<i>p</i> = 0.0030) were identified in the anxiety group, while the depression group was characterized by reduced vitamin D levels (<i>p</i> = 0.0302). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and major depressive disorder.
