Blood and brain tissues were collected for biochemical assays (SUR1, TRPM4, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, TAS, TOS, OSI, thiol-disulfide homeostasis), histological analyses (H&E, Cresyl Violet, and 8-OHdG immunostaining), and qRT-PCR of epilepsy-related miRNAs. This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and epilepsy.
