CCL5 and neoplasm: Furthermore, the correlations with tumor burden and Taa cells suggest that aging may increase HCC risk through the accumulation of CCL5-expressing Taa cells.<h4>Significance</h4>The findings in this study highlight the potential of a miRNA-based therapy in the treatment of, and as a biomarker for, liver cancer, something especially promising given the liver's avid uptake of RNA.
