Group comparisons were performed using the Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn's post-hoc analysis, and relationships between PSA levels, age, and postmortem interval (PMI) were examined using simple linear regression.
Results
Median PSA levels were 0.87 ng/mL in controls, 234.0 ng/mL in PCa, and 3.82 ng/mL in BPH, while PSA levels in non-prostatic malignancies were comparable to controls. The gene discussed is KLK3; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
