Genetic analyses of ALDH2, CYP2A6, and ADH1B were performed in 20 patients, and multivariate Cox analysis included tumor stage, smoking, and body mass index (BMI).
Results
Smoking was more common in Group B than in Group A (89.0% vs. 73.5%, p = 0.013) and was associated with Lugol-voiding lesions (p = 0.027). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2A6 and neoplasm.
