Post-treatment, behavioral assessments (Y-maze) and oxidative stress biomarkers were evaluated, including enzymatic antioxidants catalase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), and glutathione peroxidase (GPx-1), as well as oxidative damage markers such as reactive oxygen species (ROS) and malondialdehyde (MDA).
Results
Survival rates were 90% in both the TIRZ and CIS groups, and 70% in the CIS/TIRZ group, whereas all rats in the control group survived. Here, SOD1 is linked to in situ carcinoma.
