Compared to the model group, rats treated with baicalin exhibited greater weight improvement from the 30th day (p < 0.05) and had significantly reduced arthritis scores from the 24th day (p < 0.05), reduced levels of IL-6 (p < 0.05) and IL-17 (p < 0.01), and higher levels of IL-10 (p < 0.01) at the end (Figure 1B–D). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and arthritic joint disease.
