Current evidence is insufficient to support the routine use of TP53 mutation status in clinical decision-making; however, some studies indicate reduced efficacy of chemotherapeutics such as 5-fluorouracil, cisplatin, temozolomide, doxorubicin, gemcitabine, and the anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody cetuximab in CRC patients with TP53 mutations [58,59,60].
