NFKB2 and cancer: Ohmae et al.’s study proposed that H. pylori may attenuate apoptosis via the alternative NF-kB2 pathway, and inhibition of this physiological process may be associated with an increased risk of cancer development; hence, the present study compared BAX expression with our previous data regarding NFKB2 in the same PUD and GC cohorts; however, no such interrelation was found.
