Several SNPS, such as rs11591147 in PCSK9, rs1260326 in GCKR, rs10455872 in LPA, rs964184 in ZPR1, rs58542926 in TM6SF2, and rs182611493 in MAU2 have been clinically associated with multiple metabolic disorders, including coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (46–51). This evidence concerns the gene TM6SF2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
