In adult ALL, only two studies have been reported to date: one found no prognostic impact of either low or high EVI1 expression on the cumulative incidence of failure (CIF, failure meaning primary refractoriness or relapse) and event-free survival (EFS) in Ph-negative B-cell ALL (B-ALL) patients, while the other showed no significant impact of EVI1 expression levels on OS and disease-free survival (DFS) rates in ALL patients (including B- and T-ALL) (14, 16). Here, RUNX1 is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
