The expression level of ITGA1 was significantly decreased in tumor tissues such as bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), kidney chromophobe (KICH), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), thyroid carcinoma (THCA), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), while the opposite was true in tumor tissues such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), HNSC, and kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC). This evidence concerns the gene ITGA1 and prostate adenocarcinoma.
