In August 2022, KTX-1001, a potent and selective NSD2 inhibitor that binds to the SET domain, developed by K36 Therapeutics, Inc., entered a phase 1 clinical trial for multiple myeloma (NCT05651932), marking the first NSD2-targeting agent for cancer treatment, raising hope for future drug development in PC (67). Here, NSD2 is linked to AL amyloidosis.
