IL17A and infection: KEGG pathway analysis showed concordant enrichment, featuring natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity, nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like and interleukin-17 (IL-17) signaling, hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) signaling, phagosome formation, and infection-related modules such as herpesvirus and Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV), consistent with plasma-based host-tumor immune interactions (Figure 2F).
