Our findings revealed a significant correlation between elevated SERPINE1 expression and pathways associated with tumor progression and inflammation, including the pathways in mtor signaling, pancreatic cancer, Notch signaling, MAPK signaling, T cell receptor signaling, B cell receptor signaling, leukocyte transendothelial migration, and neurotrophin signaling, suggesting that SERPINE1 may be implicated in both tumorigenesis and inflammation processes (Figure 3I). Here, SERPINE1 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
