At six years following HCV eradication, more than 80% of patients achieved normal values of ALT, bilirubin, and albumin; around 60% had normal INR, platelet count, and VCTE-LSM < 10 kPa; and only 15% persisted with a high probability of CSPH defined by VCTE-LSM > 20 kPa, splenomegaly, and/or esophageal varices. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is Splenomegaly.
