The NAFLD fibrosis score categories demonstrated no significant variation in IL-6 levels across low-risk (15.9 ± 11.7 pg/mL), intermediate-risk (13.6 ± 6.9 pg/mL), and high-risk (15.5 ± 8.2 pg/mL) groups (p = 0.70) [Table S1]. Here, IL6 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
