To align with the Braak staging of tau pathology in AD (Braak & Braak, 1991) and the definitions of subtypes derived from neurofibrillary studies (Murray et al., 2011; Whitwell et al., 2012), where data from two hemispheres are averaged for each region, the integration of SUVR maps across two hemispheres could make our results more directly comparable with established frameworks in tau pathology. Here, MAPT is linked to Alzheimer disease.
