Older age at the time of surgery correlated with smaller densities of CD8+ T cells in the IM (ρ = -0.47, P = 0.005), OM (ρ = -0.47, P = 0.02), and PT region (ρ = -0.35, P = 0.04), as well as with smaller densities of CD20+ B cells in TC (ρ = -0.39, P = 0.02) and IM (ρ = -0.38, P = 0.02).
