Approximately 65% of uterine sarcoma patients with BCOR-rearranged mutations have CDK4 amplification or CDKN2A gene inactivation and multiple genes in the CDK4 pathway are overexpressed in BCOR-CCNB3-fused sarcomas 77, 78, suggesting potential targeted therapeutic implications of CDK4/6 inhibitors in BCOR mutated patients. This evidence concerns the gene BCOR and uterine corpus sarcoma.
