Non-coding RNAs modulate PANoptosome components post-transcriptionally: circular RNA circOGDH binds to HMGB1 in diabetic cardiomyopathy models, stabilizing RIPK3 protein and promoting its activation, thereby exacerbating PANoptosis (48); long non-coding RNA AC133552.2 functions as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) in osteosarcoma, sequestering miR-454-3p to enhance IRF1 mRNA expression, and NLRP3-PANoptosome activity (49), miR-155 indirectly promotes NF-κB pathway activation and PANoptosis-related gene expression by suppressing its inhibitor, TNFAIP3, in liver transplant IRI (50). This evidence concerns the gene HMGB1 and diabetic cardiomyopathy.
