The causal relationships revealed that NQO2 (1.047; 1.002–1.094; P = 0.042), CA6 (1.886; 1.015–1.162; P = 0.017), PTGDR (1.073; 1.012–1.137; P = 0.018), PTK2 (1.085; 1.002–1.176; P = 0.046), and CASP7 (1.080; 1.026–1.137; P = 0.003) were associated with high risk of myocardial infarction.
