ALB and Hypoalbuminemia: Albumin, at the cut-off value of <4.0 g/dL, with AUC 0.73, sensitivity 70%, and specificity 74% corresponds with the result from other authors (20–23), where hypoalbuminemia, defined by an albumin level less than 3.5 g/dL, was significantly associated with worse recovery outcomes (AUC 0.72).
