Multiple regression models for tumor SELENOF levels revealed that, being non-Hispanic Black (β = 1.14, p-value = 0.0003), having negative PR status (β = 0.69, p-value = 0.009), lower Ki67 (β = −0.52, p-value = 0.005), a marker for proliferation, and higher eIF4a3 levels in tumor tissue (β = 0.68, p < 0.0001) were associated with higher SELENOF levels (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene EIF4A3 and neoplasm.
