Mechanistically, in terms of mechanism, our data suggest that TRPM6 may regulate cancer progression, possibly through neural synaptic pathways, modulates the immune microenvironment, and mediates Mg2+-dependent tumor suppression, with its knockdown promoting CRC cell proliferation, migration, and EMT marker upregulation while attenuating Mg2+-mediated anti-tumor effects.
