NLRP3 and infection: MiR-223 is a microRNA which intervenes in different processes including infections (Yahyaei et al., 2016; Saulle et al., 2021; Saulle et al., 2023), inflammation (Haneklaus et al., 2013; Saulle et al., 2021; Das and Rao, 2022) and preeclampsia, via NLRP3 targeting (Haneklaus et al., 2013; Liu et al., 2024).
