Immunization with the vaccine did not cause peripheral inflammatory response which was analyzed at 30 weeks after last dose (4th) immunization, and even decreased the levels of IL-6, IFNγ, GM-CSF, and IL-12p70 in 3xTg-AD mice, which suggests that immunization with SNAP-AD5 not only did not cause inflammatory response in long-term, but also inhibited the inflammation (Song et al., 2024). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and Alzheimer disease.
