Based on the full multivariate model, hypoalbuminemia (odd ratio [OR]: 32.635; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.829–582.248; P = 0.018), septic shock (OR: 77.050; 95% CI: 2.403–2470.406; P = 0.014) and elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels (OR: 1.026; 95% CI: 1.001–1.052; P = 0.043) were independent predictors of 30-day all-cause mortality. Here, CRP is linked to Hypoalbuminemia.
