FGFR3 and glioblastoma: Current reports on the formation of calcification in GBM may be related to lead poisoning, neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF 1), fragile X chromosome syndrome, and FGFR3::TACC3 fusion, etc. Takeuchi, K et al suggested that if a way to accelerate calcium deposition in tumors can be found, it may provide a direct or indirect therapeutic approach to extend the survival of GBM patients.[2,10,15-17]
