Importantly, ADC values in both groups (1.37 ± 0.05 × 10−3 mm2/s for ADH and 1.35 ± 0.05 × 10−3 mm2/s for DCIS) were higher than the commonly accepted cutoff value for malignancy (<1.2 × 10−3 mm2/s), in accordance with previously published data indicating higher ADC values in in situ lesions [20,26-30]. The gene discussed is AVP; the disease is ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
