The management of thyroid storm in our cohort primarily involved beta-blockers, such as propranolol, as they are essential for controlling tachycardia and preventing life-threatening arrhythmias. Antithyroid drugs, including carbimazole and propylthiouracil, help block the synthesis of thyroid hormones. In a few cases, Lugol's iodine and lithium were used instead of thionamides due to coexisting liver dysfunction at presentation. The gene discussed is TG; the disease is Decreased liver function.
